in respect of admissions to the 2023/2024 school year

PART 1 - Admissions to the 2023/ 2024 school year

Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2023 /2024

The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants and also for admission to our Early Start Preschool.

The school will commence accepting applications for admission on	9^th November 2022
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on	In the event of the school being oversubscribed the school will cease accepting applications after 20^th January 2023. The school will continue to accept applications subject to the availability of places up to the end of June 2023.
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is	10^th February 2023
The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is	24^th February 2023

Note: the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.

Special Class Application and Decision Dates for admission to The Den, Scoil an Chroi Ro Naofa Junior Schools ASD Classes.2023 /2024

The following are the dates applicable for admission to the school’s Special Class which caters for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The school will commence accepting applications for admission to the special class on	9^th November 2022
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission to the special class on	20^th January 2023
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application for admission to the special class is	10^th February 2023
The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is	24^th February 2023

*Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn

Number of places being made available in Junior Infants, Early Start , ASD Class 2023 /24

The number of places being made available in junior infants is	80
The number of places being made available in Early Start is	60

The number of places being made available in the special class , The Den, catering for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder is	4
