The Gruffalo

In Senior Infants we read the story of the Gruffalo and we really enjoyed the story. Before reading the story we drew predictions of what we thought the Gruffalo might look like, then we listened to a description of the Gruffalo and drew him again drawing comparisons with our initial drawing. We found rhyming words whilst we were reading the story and after reading we wrote a character profile of the Gruffalo using as many adjectives as possible. Then we role - played the story using masks this was so much fun.
